The doctors are good but the support staff are miserable and rude. When calling I often get cut off right at the end once having waited on hold for 20 plus minutes
The doctors are pretty good (esp. Dr Curran), the reception staff are obviously under a fair bit of pressure as their customer skills are lacking, but my biggest issue is I CAN NEVER GET THROUGH ON THE PHONE TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT. It is now 11:10 and I have been ringing almost constantly since 8am (37 times according to my mobile), and option one is always engaged.THIS IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH.
The reception staff are very rude and unhelpful. You can never get through on the phone at any time of the day. You have to queue up before 8 in the morning to stand the chance of getting an appointment with a nurse. It seems to be impossible to get an appointment with a doctor. The nurses and other medical staff are lovely though and really helpful it's the reception system that ruins this place.
So bloody slow. Reception ask a million questions. And as for ringing up at 8am what a joke 41 times this morning and still no answer. The self service point dose not work. Would avoid at all cost your better off going to A&E
I am very happy with the care Springhead Medical Centre has given my mother. For both appointments at the medical centre itself and particularly for home visits the service has been excellent. Doctors and nurses have all been kind. The reception staff have also always been very helpful.
