Yet another excursion to my favorite music cafe. Always a warm welcome from owners Fran and Frank. Had a tasty curry off the specials board. Tonight the talented John and Peter Cox, aka Urban Rain, were performing two sets of a John's original songs.
Thankyou Frank and Fran for a lovely evening. Our first visit but will definitely not be our last. The atmosphere was great, the duo Graham and Phil were brilliant, the food and drinks were delicious, the toilets were very clean and convenient and we will recommend to all our friends, family and neighbours.
Popped in for a quick lunch. Excellent food and service. Had a smoked salmon sandwich which came with salad coleslaw crisps. Excellent all round shall be going again soon
Overall poor experience. Arrived 12.30, unoccupied tables still covered with previous diners' leftovers.Waited 20 minutes for order to be taken, two Lasagnes. After a further 25 minute's wait, asked how much longer meals would be. Told they were being prepared, there was a rush of customers. Well no surprise there as it was lunchtime . After a total waiting time of 55 minutes the food arrived. Looked good but think chef must have used sugar in place of salt in recipe, tasted very sweet. Response was they have not had a complaint before. Maybe customers do not want to offend staff.Ate mine, so hungry, wife left most of hers.More staff needed.
