After being hit by a car my bike needed repairing. Star bikes was convenient to my location and the handled everything from a speedy repair to contacting the car driver to obtain payment. 5 star efficient service. Wiil use again and recommend.
I can only speak as I have found. I have just bought a new bike from Roy and found him to be very helpful. He also gave me a good price and changed some components at very reasonable cost. I think if we don't support good local bike shops we will eventually lose them.

TOP BRANDS, GREAT SERVICE.I was recommended to use Star Bikes a couple of years ago. I have subsequently had bikes services, bought components, helmets, shoes and general cycling stuff. I recently wanted to upgrade my bike and Star Bikes was the obvious choice! Roy has also been very straight, offering great advice. Unlike a lot of shops in the area, Roy sells you want you need/want and not what he has is stock or he wants to sell you.I have recommend Star Bikes to a number of friends/work colleagues who have bought bikes from Roy and are as satisfied with the service and products as I am.
